Computer Glitch says No Room at the Inn
The Holiday Inn Resort has 340 Gulf-front rooms right on the beach but if you’ve been on the website and tried to get a room it may have said there are “No rooms available for requested dates”? Don’t Fret! The experts at SpringBreakHQ are on the case to find out if there’s any room at the inn!
We spoke with the Assistant General Manager, Phyllis Campisi, at the Holiday Inn Resort who says, “We still have rooms available during all weeks of Spring Break 2011 and are happy to assist breakers who would like to join us at the Holiday Inn Resort, Panama City Beach for all the excitement.”
It turns out that during spring break hotels may have minimum stay requirements. Requested availability may show “sold out” online because you may have put in dates that were a night or two less than the required minimum night stay. When this happens, the reservations system thinks that there are no rooms available because it doesn’t match whatever code is programmed.
